Game Style

Timothy and the Mysterious Forest blends an “old school” style with modern concepts. Inspired by Game Boy graphics reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, the game features a meta-narrative, a stealth system, and challenging action combat.

Gameplay Mechanics

The Story

Timothy, a courageous child, embarks on a perilous journey to the Mysterious Forest to save his grandfather, who is gravely ill. legends speak of a magical mushroom that can cure any ailment, hidden deep within the forest. Timothy’s quest leads him through treacherous terrain and encounters with unwelcoming characters, all in the hopes of finding the magical cure.

The World

The Mysterious Forest is a forbidding place filled with ruins, graveyards, caves, and swamps. Every location is designed to evoke a sense of abandonment and danger. Most inhabitants are unfriendly, driven by questionable motives, creating a tense and immersive environment.
