Story Background

Half a year after the events of ROBOTICS;NOTES ELITE, the island of Tanegashima prepares for its annual Summer Festival. Kaito Yashio, now a high school graduate with dreams of becoming an astronaut, is applying to college. Through his friend Nae Tennouji from JAXA, he meets Itaru Hashida on a ferry. While Itaru claims to be sightseeing, his behavior becomes increasingly peculiar as time passes. Together with former members of the Robot Club—Akiho Senomiya, Junna Daitoku, Frau Koujiro, Subaru Hidaka, and Airi Yukifune, a girl they encountered during the incident in February—they enjoy the summer. However, unsettling events begin to unfold, signaling an impending chaos that threatens to engulf the world once more.
